The Morning Report - 9/5/19

Good morning, kids. More of the same really for this Thursday as Hurricane Dorian has gained strength to a category 3 storm, and it's now heading north towards the Carolinas. Be prepared, stay safe and prayers for the victims in the Bahamas (now reported at at least 20).

• Hurricane Dorian Strengthens Again to Category 3

  Yes, there was what can only be described as a 7-hour agitprop broadcast on Leftist house organ CNN all about "climate change." Aside from blood shooting out of Joe Bidet's eye (where's MeGyn Kelly?) the only thing new was that the insane hyperbole was almost off the charts. Stay tuned.

  SECOND AMENDMENT

  The big news is a serious (to me) ramping up of a state of insurrection at its current epicenter, California where, in the wake of the mass shootings over the past few weeks the city of San Francisco as declared the National Rifle Association to be a terrorist organization. Mad as this sounds, there is a method to it. It lays down a marker for the future attempted confiscation of any and all weapons in the hands of private citizens who happen to be associated with or members of the NRA. I say "attempted" since this is a dangerous provocation of an already abused, beleaguered and tolerant citizenry that I think for me crosses a line. Seriously, is the mayor now going to order the police to arrest actual NRA members that live within the city limits? Anyway, if I were the NRA, I'd make it easy for them; to organize a mass march on San Francisco City Hall.

  In the here and now, I fully expect lawsuits to be flying and an eventual reversal coming from a court. But it still leaves the question of what to do about a city and state that should be considered as hostile powers approaching open revolt - fully backed and egged on by one of our major political parties, its leadership and voter base as well as the media and the Deep State bureaucrats in DC. I'm not necessarily concerned about 2020. It's 2024 and beyond that gives me the heebie-jeebies. The Left is dousing themselves in gasoline and looking for a match.
