Quick refresher on who this meaningless person is: She invented a scam by which white women would take her out for dinner, and, as entertainment, she would yell at them about racism.

Saira Rao, who ran for Congress in 2018, has co-founded a group where white women can go to dinner to listen to why they are complicit in racism and white supremacy.

Attendees' only job is to "bear witness" to the pain of "Black and Brown" women.

Race To Dinner invites women to "set aside their white women tears" and schedule a dinner with the co-founders.

Race To Dinner is aimed at white women and was co-founded by Saira Rao after her 2018 congressional run, according to the website.

The group’s website points out that the company's goal isn’t to make white women comfortable. Its aim is to be seen and heard by white women, whose only job is to sit during the dinner and "bear witness" to their pain, which they say white women have caused.

These dinners aren't for people who want to feel good, learn or be an ally, and it is not for white women or about white women, the website states. White women already know everything about white supremacy, because "you and your dudes wrote the book," the Facebook page notes. The website says that it isn't personal, it's just how things are.

Even if you don’t think that you are racist, you are, according to Race To Dinner.

Denouncing Trump, the KKK and Nazis does not exempt you from racism, this group says. Rather, "as a white person in America, you are an active participant in upholding white supremacy." Everyone is a part of the system, the website says, but "Black and Brown" people are "on the receiving end of white supremacy" while white women "are on the giving end."

Rao ran for Congress in 2018 and the website says that she is a racial justice activist. After she lost the primary, she tweeted that she should "give up on white people" with a link to an opinion piece that she wrote for the New York Times. She also said that she was taking her children and moving out of Colorado because of all of the racism that she was subjected to.

If you're a white women and would like to "set aside your white woman tears," the Race To Dinner website has a section where you are able to schedule a dinner with Jackson and Rao.

As I said at the time, Sounds to me like a couple of angry antifas have figured out a scam to get white women to buy them dinner.

You're not going to believe this, but -- plot twist! -- Sairo Rao's white friends have stopped inviting her places.

The reason? Well, it's pretty obvious, ins't it?

Because of all the #Racism.

Here's what I've learned: whiteness is the most powerful drug on the planet. And if you, yourself, don't want to wean yourself off of whiteness, it can't and won't happen.

You have to not just want to wean yourself, you have to *desperately* want to wean yourself.

I was a white feminist until 2016. I was deeply self-loathing and internally oppressed. Nearly all my closest friends were white women. These women were in my wedding, and I in theirs. They cradled me when I wept for my dead mother. They would have done anything for me.

EXCEPT GIVE UP WHITENESS.

I spent one full year meeting them for coffee, drinks, lunch, dinner. I sent them articles. I wrote articles. I sent them those. Rather than show an interest in awakening, nearly ALL of them, dumped me.

Dumping has involved a pinch of ghosting, a dash of "I'm really worried about you, WE are really worried about you." It's involved leaving me and my family out of group plans - and pretending it was an accident.

They've bonded around WHITENESS.

This is no different than the KKK. Instead of robes, they coalesce around brunch, weddings, spin classes.

I no longer harbor anger towards them.

Uh, obviously dude.

I'd be lying if I said it didn't make me sad from time to time, because it does.

But the overarching feelings I have are (a) UNDERSTANDING. Understanding how they are all just reading from their Whiteness Script. A script they received before they were born and (b) FEAR.

Fear that if the intense love they had for me and my family wasn't enough to reflect on their own white supremacy, what hope do we have.

Those who love us still love whiteness more. By a long shot.

The most powerful drug on the planet.

As for that advice: save your time, save your energy, save your heart. Until and unless they themselves want to eradicate the toxic whiteness embedded in their DNA, it'll never happen and you'll be crushed trying.
