Representative Doug Collins Thinks the FBI Leaker Referenced Anonymously in a Recent OIG Dispatch Is None Other Than Peter Strzok
DOJ Release Redacted Michael Flynn Documents
This OIG report mentions a former FBI Deputy Assistant Director making unauthorized leaks, and also accepting gifts from the media.
The OIG investigation concluded that the DAD engaged in misconduct when the DAD: (1) disclosed to the media the existence of information that had been filed under seal in federal court, in violation of 18 USC § 401, Contempt of Court; (2) provided without authorization FBI law enforcement sensitive information to reporters on multiple occasions; and (3) had dozens of official contacts with the media without authorization, in violation of FBI policy.
The OIG also found that the DAD engaged in misconduct when the DAD accepted a ticket, valued at approximately $225, to attend a media-sponsored dinner, as a gift from a member of the media, in violation of federal regulations and FBI policy.
Prosecution of the DAD was declined.
Prosecution was declined. Of course. However, in fairness, it should be noted that an action contrary to department policy is not necessarily a crime. It might be something worthy of reprimand or firing, and yet not be a crime.
Anyway, Doug Collins thinks it's none other than Lovebird #1, Peter "Parseltongue" Strzok.
Remember, Strzok leans liberal and is a member of the Deep State, so he is entitled to the presumption of innocence.
Unlike you peons.
And this is just breaking -- Documents, in redacted form, released in response to motion from Michael Flynn's lawyers.
I believe these are the documents released.
