Trans Powerlifter Stripped of Records for Women's Weightlifting
After further review, the Powerlifting Federation has decided that Austin Powers was right all along: She's a man, baby.
A transgender powerlifter named Mary Gregory recently "dominated" the field at a Powerlifting Federation competition last month, smashing four world records for that weight class in the process. This had the actual women competing in the event understandably upset and protests were lodged. But after an investigation was conducted, the federation chairman posted an announcement saying that the record lifts were being taken off the books.
The chairman decided the women's category was for, get this, biological women and not for men "identifying" as female: "Our rules, and the basis of separating genders for competition, are based on physiological classification rather than identification."
What a concept.
Scott Rasmussen recently polled on public support for men in dresses competing in girls' and women's sports and the results are as you'd expect: 23% of the country are SJW weirdos who don't believe there's such a thing as biological sex, 21% are unsure, and 56% are rational human beings who understand science and are not insane and therefore oppose it.
Not a big winner in electoral politics -- which might be why the media doesn't push it as a political issue.
So it's time for Republicans to make it a political issue.
Jazz Shaw also links the below video from The Daily Signal, about the effect of the two boys competing as "girls" in Connecticut have on actual girls trying to compete in girls' track and field.
Girls are getting brave and daring to say that men are men and women are women, but unfortunately, only when they themselves are damaged by this bizarre redefinition of "female."
Below that, Steven Crowder roasts a video from the failing, destitute Vice claiming that men should be allowed to compete with women because Science Is A Lie and the only thing that matters is how you feel.
"There's no clear link between testosterone and sports performance."
Why do all sports governing bodies forbid the usage of exogenous testosterone, then?
