ę If Hot Rhetoric Increases the Chance of Violence Against the Target, Why Have Democrats and the Media Spent Two Years Trying to Get People on the Right Assassinated and Beaten in the Streets? | Main | The Father of Neoconservatism, Norman Podhoretz, On Trump and NeverTrump Ľ
April 17, 2019

A Plurality of Americans Accept that the FBI "Spied" on Trump

Despite the media's shrieking that spying is not spying when Democrat partisans do it, only 28% of the public say there was no spying.

So that's good.

But here's a worse way to put it: Only 38% of Americans agree that reality is real.

Thirty-eight percent of respondents said they believe the Trump campaign was spied on, compared with 28 percent who said they don't believe the president's campaign was spied on. More than a third, 35 percent, said they donít know or have no opinion about it.

Politico asserts there is "no evidence" for spying... except, of course, for the acknowledged spying.

While there's no evidence that officials spied on the Trump campaign, the attorney generalís comments still made it into a majority of voters' news consumption.

And hark, what news is this?

Election Day is still a long way off. But Trumpís current Gallup approval rating (45 percent) is higher than Barack Obamaís was in April of his third year (44 percent) and only a hair below Bill Clinton's (48 percent). At least for now, Trump's go-it-alone strategy looks perfectly viable.
