Don't Call Joe Biden a Hero

Joe Biden says that he stopped his driver on the way to tonight's state Democratic dinner to give a homeless woman "whatever was in my pocket" — stops sparking applause by saying "no, no, no, it's not about me."

The other day I threw myself in the path of an out-of-control schoolbus and used my own body to cushion the impact with a concrete median divider.

Wait -- no, no, no -- stop applauding me. This isn't about me. This is about that bus. And the children I saved. No no -- not "I" saved, the children that were saved, by Almighty God, who used me as his Divinely Chosen Instrument of Salvation, because I'm awesome.

But this isn't about me. It's about God needing a favor, and me just lending the Big Guy a hand.
