The Morning Report - 10/9/18

Good morning, kids. Tuesday's here and as Associate Justice Brett Kavanaugh starts his first day on the Supreme Court, there's still a whole lot of fallout politically both in a tactical sense as we are now four weeks out from the Midterms and in the long run in terms of what is now an open assault on the rule of law, the very nature of the law itself in the Constitution and Bill of Rights, and a political movement and its party that seeks nothing less than permanent and absolute power by any and all means at its disposal.

It's kind of bizarre since, on the surface we continue to go through the motions both in terms of process and procedure with hearings and elections and yet the Democrat-Left-Media complex and its minions have engaged in what can only be described as a coordinated effort to overthrow the nation via corrupt bureaucrats, media that sows disinformation and foments violence and insurrection and actual acts of violence and insurrection themselves. Ultimately this leads to Steve Scalise, Rand Paul and others.
Abraham Lincoln was prescient in 1838 when he delivered a speech before the Young Men's Lyceum of Springfield Illinois, not just about what was to happen in 1860 but what is happening now:

...At what point then is the approach of danger to be expected? I answer, if it ever reach us, it must spring up amongst us. It cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide.

I hope I am over wary; but if I am not, there is, even now, something of ill-omen, amongst us. I mean the increasing disregard for law which pervades the country; the growing disposition to substitute the wild and furious passions, in lieu of the sober judgment of Courts; and the worse than savage mobs, for the executive ministers of justice. This disposition is awfully fearful in any community; and that it now exists in ours, though grating to our feelings to admit, it would be a violation of truth, and an insult to our intelligence, to deny...

Aside from the references to slavery and contemporaneous events, what he describes is absolutely in line with what we are witnessing today. From sanctuary city/state laws that nullify Federal law (and even their own statutes), judges who abuse their authority to violate the separation of powers to elected officials who use their position to trample on the rights of political opponents and civilians to cities like Portland, Oregon and Oakland, California that are allowing organized terrorists to take to the streets and indeed terrorize the populace.

While Lincoln believed that the solution was to be found in the common reverence for the laws and the sprit of the American Revolution, the problem that perhaps he did not see was that we have in this country today a considerable portion of the populace and a political party and movement that has at its heart a hatred of America as founded, its people, culture and institutions and is committed to its destruction, conquest and/or subjugation. And as he stated "...it would be an insult to our intelligence to deny it."

Besides the violence, smears and dirty tricks there is an equally vicious and all-out assault via the media and academia to delegitimize Justice Kavanaugh and therefore the Supreme Court (as per William Jacobson) that goes hand in hand with delegitimizing President Trump via the Mueller Russia-Gate probe and more broadly our government as it is constituted with a renewed full frontal assault on the electoral college. Yes, it's easy to laugh at Loopy Ocasio-Fiasco but there is a real effort being mounted to abolish the electoral college - a bulwark of republican government meant to protect against the tyranny of the majority - via the usual gang of deviants and criminals in the leftist think tanks and faculty lounges and now political figures. No doubt convicted criminal and Nazi collaborator George Soros is funding much of this effort, just as his ill-gotten literal blood money has gone to fund a lion's share of the projects and schemes meant to "eat away at the vitals" of the nation and society. The beastly harridan who confronted Jeff Flake in the Senate elevator with a conveniently located CNN camera right there makes a 6-figure salary off of confiscated Jew-booty. But I digress...

Funny how even after the passage of the 17th amendment that effectively destroyed much of the 9th and 10th and Guam-tipped a fundamental aspect of checks and balances, the Left are still pissing and moaning about the system being flawed; flawed meaning, they didn't get their way. And I thought I saw the other day that they are seriously considering an attempt to pack the court with several more justices, no doubt with the age and mindset of Ocasio-Fiasco.

Come what may after November 6th, shit is going to hit the fan. If we win, by whatever margin, the protests and violence are going to be ramped up. If G-d forbid we lose control of one or both Houses of Congress, the Deep State and bureaucracy are going to unleash holy hell on the President and by extension we the people. And there may even be more violence than if they lose. Lindsey Graham was right; G-d forbid that they ever be allowed to get back into power.

Let's get to the links: As mentioned, Brett Kavanaugh was sworn in yesterday as the nation's 114th Justice to the SCOTUS. The President was a class act all the way and apologized to Justice Kavanaugh for what the Democrats put him and his family through, and for his part the Justice was equally classy, showing boundless gratitude as well as humility and no rancor. Meanwhile, Nancy Palsi is badgering the FBI for the President's directives on how the last investigation was handled, and a debunking of the Merrick Garland propaganda.

Segueing into politics, PDT warns that the Dems will turn America into Venezuela, Alaska's GOP is considering dumping Murkowski (just considering?!), a few links on the aforementioned growing assault on the legitimacy of the electoral college, red state Dems treading lightly in a political minefield in the wake of Kavanaugh, Susan Collins is pissed at Planned Mengele-hood, Joe Donnelly is hoping Indianans are clueless, Taylor is not so Swift, Andrew Gilum wants to get his hands on the Joo-weather-controllers, when Scott Walker's father passed, the Left turned to Twitter and was revolting as is their wont, and the somewhat eeyorish yet always readable Daniel (not David) Horowitz with 6 takeaways from l'affaire Edsel Smear the GOP should sear into their beings but probably won't. We shall see.

Some interesting news in Mewler-gate wherein PDT says he is not going to fire Rod Rosenpenis, although not linked I did see elsewhere that the Grahaminator is hinting that he might be replacing Sooper Secret Sleeper AG Lemmon 714 McSnoozerson, Devin Nunes is warning PDT about guerrillas in his midst, and the FBI's possible connection between this and the Kavanaugh smear campaign.

In Fake News Fakery, Facebook attempts to abort coverage of the Gosnell biopic and Christian Toto with his take on the flick, U-W students who wanted to celebrate the confirmation might sue the bar that wouldn't bake their cake, so to speak, and Twitter still has active accounts known to have helped spread fake news in 2016. Quelle surprise.

Internationally, big Euro-peon ~~bankers~~ wankers are pressuring PDT to save Iran's access to financial institutions, opinion piece on the journalist held captive by the Saudis, Daniel Greenfield on the most recent Palestinian butchery, Estonia's chips are down, mostly on all forms of national ID, and the UN Human Rights Council is neither.

Closer to home, the limo driver in that horrific crash turns out not only to have been an FBI terror informant but also involved in multiple other drunk driving incidents, the booming economy is playing havoc with army recruitment, Carlos Danger is going to pop out of his bindings come May, NBC loves Iceland's brainwashing of toddlers with the gender insanity, and the growing threat of Chi-Com spies all over the place from academia to industry. Talk about rotting our vitals from within; that has got to be halted immediately.

In Red-Green enviro news, get this, Al Gore is once again claiming we only have 12 years left before global warming kills us - yet again as his 10 year clock ran out 2 years ago. Same deal with the IPCC although despite the fact that in another link the UN sez there's nothing we can do about it... except go Luddite and hand over our entire economy to them. And die, too.
