LOL: 2nd Accuser, Debbie Ramirez, Declines to Testify Under Oath;
Tells Senators to See Her Statement in The New Yorker

According to Senator John Kennedy, at least.

Sen. John Kennedy, R-La., who sits on the committee, said a lawyer for Ramirez told committee staff she would not speak to them about her allegation that Kavanaugh flashed his naked groin in her face during an alcohol-laden party their freshman year. Ramirez made the accusation in a blockbuster Sunday night New Yorker story.

"Our counsel repeatedly tried to reach him," Kennedy said of Ramirez's lawyer. "They finally did reach him, and he said we are not issuing a statement. He said if you want our statement, read the New Yorker."

Meanwhile, Christina Blasey Ford might, get this, also not show up to testify under oath, according to Dianne Feinstein:

Chuck Grassley has pretty much had enough of this bullshit. In the below letter, he rejects Dianne Feinstein's most recent (of many) demands that Ford not testify under oath, and also rejects her demand that the FBI investigate Ramirez's claims. He notes, pointedly, that false statements made to The New Yorker are not subject to penalty for perjury, but false statements made to Congress are, and if Ramirez ever decides to sell her Recovered Memories to Congress where she can be held criminally liable for perjury, then they'll decide how and whether to proceed -- but they won't be proceeding before she's given sworn testimony or a sworn written statement.

I expect Lisa Murkowski to announce that the only issue is how enthusiastically we believe the victim Debbie Ramirez and her powerful testimony to Ronan Farrow and Jane Meyer.
