The Morning Rant: J.V. Edition

The complete and total stupidity, arrogance, obtuseness and ignorance of most of our senators is a national disgrace. Most august deliberative body my ass! Granted, Murphy is a particularly egregious example of the species Senatorum retardi democraticus, but still, how about some low-level understanding of economic terms and principles? I honestly don't know what the hell he is trying to say here. Is he suggesting that companies should hire additional workers at higher wages to increase demand for their products? Because...um...that's really dumb.

The best strategy for job creation is to pay a decent living wage to every worker in America. Jobs don’t magically appear. They respond to consumer demand, and good wages create demand. That’s what I’m thinking about on Labor Day.
