"So New York's AG, Eric Schneiderman had to resign after being accused of sexually assaulting a bunch of women and slapping them around. And, I'll bet that it will turn out that a lot of people knew about this guy's proclivities but never said anything. These women were probably told, 'oh no, you can't publicly accuse Mr. Gropenslap of grabbing your hoohah, because then he'd have to resign and he might get replaced by an icky Republican who hates women.' And by the way, Schneiderman is supposedly a big 'champion' of women's rights and was also one of the loudest of the #MeToo movement's loudmouths. But I'm sure none of you are surprised by that."

4/24 Tim in Illinois needs sleep. Wants to "give up". Prayer request from Slapweasel that he have a relationship with the Lord and have some peace

4/25 From "Lee Also"- A friend of mine has ALS, and it looks like she is going to have to have a nasal gastric tube and a tracheostomy soon. Her ability to swallow is getting dangerously weak. I'm praying she'll get to hold her grandbaby, due in the summer.

4/25 From "Sulla- My dad's full test results came back today, and unfortunately it is cancer: adenocarcinoma. They'll be doing more this week to determine a course of treatment. My mom seems more shaken than Dad at the moment, but we're all still concerned. Prayers for healing.

4/26 Pooky's Girl-Bad news: Pooky is still struggling with PTSD nightmares and flashbacks. Good news: He is now seeing a PTSD-focused therapist and the med adjustments have really helped. He is showing enthusiasm for our move, which is an improvement from the last two years. He's also joking and playing with Pookette a lot more. There has been a lot of divine intervention in our lives lately, and I'm grateful for that.

4/28 Mr, Feverhead- difficult cancer treatments, $10,000 taxes from IRS due, wife left with child, Needs prayer.

4/28 Jewell's daughter is doing better-out of hospital and back at work- but still needs guidance from doctors on how to treat the pain she is still having. Jane thanks everyone for the prayers.

5/01 Moki's daughter's step threat is gone, but she is still working on college finals for this week and needs the strength to complete that as she deals with Lyme Disease and some other medical conditions

5/1- Kemp asked prayers for his premature twin grandchildren that are in NICU.

5/1 ShopGirl- Prayers for Pastor Al and his family and friends. Pastor Al was the pastor of ShopGirl's church when she was in high school, whom she loved and respected very much.

5/6-Insomniac-"There's a difficult and complicated family situation and children and I need prayer." A fellow hordeling asked that Insomniac receive strength and hope at this time.

5/6 Laurel asked-Please pray for my sister-in-law, that she have some surcease from pain and that she find ways to reach out and increase the presence of friends in her life. She is having a hard time with MS

5/6- From ibguy-Joyce is still with us, some days are "brighter" than others.She's completely incontinent now, and unable to stand even with support. Her vocabulary seems to be down to "yeah." But I spoke with her a few minutes ago, and she sounded okay. not sad.My prayer for her continues to be "May Joyce continue to be free of physical pain, and her transition be as peaceful as possible."

5/7 Hobbitopoly- I'm happy to report that my father is doing much better after his eye surgery and is healing nicely. We still have a long road, but he's made a lot of progress.

5/8 Fenelon-because of increasing pain and other symptoms, I have some recommendations for medical tests and am dealing with insurance issues regarding this. Prayers for my health and for resolution of insurance issues would be much appreciated. Thanks.

5/8-Prayers for Backwards Gal and B'Boy . Backwards Boy said B'Gal will be having surgery for removal of two fingers on Wednesday 5/9 because of a painful and difficult medical condition. Prayers for she and B'Boy before, during and after surgery.

5/8-Thing From Snowy Mountain, a long-time Hordeling. He needs continuing healing of his heart from previous medical problems as well as improvement in his blood pressure and weight. He would also like a job that isn't adding to both stress and physical damage while he is trying his best to do what he can to improve in those areas.
