Pennsylvania School District to Give Teachers Teeny Tiny Miniature Plastic Baseball Bats, So They Can Fight Off School Shooters Using Teeny Tiny Miniature Plastic Guns

Well, maybe the bats aren't intended to actually be used to fight, but rather as a symbolic reminder that if there's a school shooting, teachers may be called upon to fight.

But, as John Sexton asks -- if you're trying to remind teachers, symbolically, they may have to fight to defend their lives and those of their charges, shouldn't you also give them weapons with which they can, you know, actually fight?

Anyone know, off-hand, the Win-Loss record of symbolic weapons versus actual real-life weapons? Not good, I'm guessing.
