Today's BlueCheckmarkMafia Freak-Out: Donald Trump Fed Some FISH!!!!

Yes, you probably all know about this, but I have to link Patrick Poole's piece about it.

Today's lunatic convulsion by the smart, educated Aristocracy of the Mind thought leaders was the claim that Trump, offered a box of fish food with which to feed the koi in a pond in Japan, dumped the whole box of food in the pond, which was terrible because... I don't know why it was terrible. Apparently the #BlueCheckmarkMafia had a huge freak-out about it, claiming it was undignified and insulting and also Bad For the Fish because the overfeeding of Koi is another #ProblematicProblem the #WhiteDevilMan is emotionally abusing us with.

See this "NBC News White House correspondent," for example.

Except... well it turns out Japan PM Abe was the first to just dump the remainder of his fish food, and Trump just imitated his action. As one does, when one is a guest in the home of another.

Then they issued, as usual, some non-admission non-correction corrections which of course did not get nearly the retweets that the initial viral epileptic fit got.

But Google remembers. Until Google purges this embarrassing evidence, at least.
