The Morning Report 11/1/17

Good morning kids. November begins with the aftermath of yesterday's terror attack in lower Manhattan. On a point of personal privilege, I was in the general area by the courts having just been excused for the day from jury duty and am safe and sound. That said, we are once again dealing with the effects of a post 9/11 environment of toxic political correctness that refuses to identify (PDT notwithstanding, thankfully) who and what we are at war with, and instead uses these attacks as pretexts to blame western, modern Judeo-Christianity as the source of the problem. Not coincidentally, those are the very things that the Left rail against and so yesterday's revelation that ISIS and Antifa are coordinating their efforts to bring us down is not that surprising but certainly alarming. Either covertly via taqqiya and Alinskyite subversion or overtly as we have seen all to many times by the practitioners of "the religion of peace" and more recently by the fiend who shot up a GOP softball practice etc. etc. etc., we are facing a growing threat that Europe is now enduring. We might still have a chance to stem this, but considering the depth and breadth of the subversion, which has been going on for perhaps several decades, the situation is in doubt. So my target for today is Jake Tapper, though he is not alone in the brazen crock-of-shit department today (see here and here too). It's only because he has some sort of phony "down-the-middle-fair-and-square" reputation that only a statement that he made in the wake of yesterday explodes that myth to smithereens. And besides, with all due apologies to Alvy Moore, he does bear an uncanny resemblance to Hank Kimball. Well, not uncanny, but kind of close. Well not close but sort of in the ballpark. Well, not sort of in the ballpark but dead on, intellectually and physically.

The other lead continues to be the aftermath of the Manafort indictments and the Papadopoulos plea. It should be noted that the first announcements from a special prosecutor are usually the most damning. And in light of what was handed down, it's shaping up to be a big fat nothing-burger. That said, the Left has had so much vested in the Trump/Russia collusion meme that even if Mueller came back and exonerated everyone and called it a day, they would not believe it. They cannot believe it and will continue to use this in every way as a pretext to continue the never ending insurrection. Rush, as always, has a great analysis and so it's worth it to check his remarks from yesterday (not linked).

Other things to note, after the sick ad leveled at Ed Gillespie, Virginians have reacted - by tripling the campaign contributions to Gillespie. And while no one is looking, the economic outlook is booming, even without any tax cuts passed in Congress. Have faith. Yes, what we are witnessing can be disheartening, vis a vis the "resistance," but whatever you feel personally about Trump the man/media personality, President Trump is taking it to the Left and to the Media like no one else has ever done. And in so doing, he is exposing them for the slime that they are and perhaps awakening a lot of heretofore unaware or disinterested people in what the hell has happened to the country. From the NFL, to Perveywood to phony "collusion" and fake news, it's all related. Keep the faith.
