The NYPD is reopening the case file on Weinstein, looking into other victims.
The New York Police Department told Fox News Thursday that they have opened an investigation into sexual assault accusations against Harvey Weinstein stemming from an alleged 2004 incident.
"Based on information referenced in published news reports the NYPD is conducting a review to determine if there are any additional complaints relating to the Harvey Weinstein matter," J. Peter Donald, of the NYPD’s DCPI told the outlet.

“The NYPD is investigating an allegation of sex assault from 2004,” NYPD added.
Although no one is saying what sex assault from 2004 they're investigating, the Daily Caller recaps the details of Lucia Evans' complaint that she was raped, while in college, in New York in 2004 by Harvey Weinstein.
I'm not sure what the London Met police are investigating, but several women have made complaints about Weinstein in England.
The Metropolitan Police, meanwhile, said it had been passed the allegation of sexual assault by Merseyside Police.
A Merseyside Police statement said it "can confirm a report was received at 8.40am on Wednesday (11 October 2017) of an alleged sexual assault in the London area in the 1980s""
The investigations come as more women publicly accuse Weinstein of inappropriate behaviour, sexual harassment or assault.
British actress Kate Beckinsale is one of the latest, saying she had an encounter with him aged 17, at the Savoy Hotel in London.
I looked it up: the Savoy is in the City of Westminster (part of London), and not Merseyside or Liverpool, so I don't know what that has to do with Beckinsdale. Probably nothing. The article just seems to mention various women who've made other complaints about Weinstein in England, but none with a specific connection to an 80s incident at the Savoy.
More on Hurricane Harvey:
Beckinsdale recounted that Weinstein harassed her, and then later asked if he'd harassed her -- he'd forgotten who he had and hadn't harassed.
The actress, who starred in The Weinstein Co. titles Serendipity and The Aviator, took to Instagram to recall when she met with the Hollywood producer at the Savoy Hotel when she was 17 years old. She assumed it would be a business discussion in a conference room, but she was then sent up to a hotel room, with Weinstein greeting her in his bathrobe.
"I was incredibly naive and young, and it did not cross my mind that this older, unattractive man would expect me to have any sexual interest in him," she said. "After declining alcohol and announcing that I had school in the morning, I left, uneasy but unscathed."
"A few years later he asked me if he had tried anything with me in that first meeting. I realized he couldn't remember if he had assaulted me or not," she continued.
The Weinstein Company itself has known about Weinstein's payoffs of women since 2015 (at least that early, I'd say), when Weinstein's lawyer David Boies disclosed "three or four settlements" when negotiating for a new contract for Harvey Weinstein. They wound up giving him the contract; that has PR and legal implications for him.
Anthony Bourdain, currently dating Weinstein victim Asia Argento, expressed disappointment with the evasiveness and tepidness of Hillary Clinton's "shocked and appalled" act regarding Weinstein, and her loyal harpies attacked him a bunch.
Weinstein accuser Rose McGowan got suspended from twitter for unknown reasons, thought it might be due to her attacks on the Weinstein Company board of directors for enabling this.
Twitter and NBC seem very protective of Weinstein and Weinstein associates for some reason.
And this is just weird: Old hardleft goat Ed Asner was on MSNBC to talk about the Weinstein matter and workplace sexism, and not once but twice asked Chris Jansing for a kiss.
