New York City Socialist Douchebag Mayor Bill DiBlasio: Yeah, I Might Have to Take Down the Columbus Statue Coincidentally Located at Columbus Circle

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio may order the removal of the statue of Christopher Columbus in Manhattan's Columbus Circle.

The statue, which is over 100 years old, is one of the city artifacts currently under review in an effort to remove "symbols of hate." De Blasio, a Democrat who is running for re-election this November, ordered the review after the violent confrontations between white supremacists and counter-protesters in Virginia earlier this month.

De Blasio said the statue would be subject to the review. "We have to look at everything here," de Blasio said during Wednesday night's Democratic mayor debate.

FDR was urged by his adviser Morgenthau to bomb the train lines ferrying Jews to the concentration camps, to slow down the speed at which the Holocaust was being carried out. FDR refused, because he didn't want the public to think we were fighting a "War for Jews."

FDR refused to allow the entry of the so-called "Ship of the Doomed" -- a ship carrying Jewish refugees from the Holocaust -- entry to the US.

FDR interned thousands of Japanese citizens.

Will DiBlasio be renaming FDR Drive, or the many other things named for FDR in NYC?
