FTC probing allegations of Amazon's deceptive discounting. Too many folks focus on percentage supposedly saved and not on the reference price trend of the item before the "sale".

An analysis found that in 61 percent of products with reference prices, Amazon's reference prices were higher than it had sold the same product in the previous 90 days, Consumer Watchdog said in a letter to the FTC dated July 6.

Fossils

Man, I never found anything cool like this when I was growing up and hiking in the mountains. Boys find a 1 million-year-old Stegomastodon while on a family hike in the desert. What's the coolest or strangest thing you found while out on a hike in the wilderness?

Fighting

Yeah we should. Why we should allow boys to fight. I do practice self defense moves with both my kids and we also do quite a bit of the lightsaber dueling. The banging of light sticks at night is quite a bit of fun. Seriously though, you never know when you will find yourself in a dangerous situation and you will need to fight. Better to be ready and you can only be ready if you have practiced and or have experience.
