Mansilencing: So This Is The Newest Stupid Shit the Left is Freaking Out About
Speaking of Elizabeth Warren, and her determination to break Senate Rule 19 (forbidding personal attacks on colleagues), Mitch McConnell said, "She was warned, she was given an explanation. Nevertheless, she persisted."
This is now the New Hot Dumb Meme of the Perpetually Offended left, with the National Laughingstock praising this new "battle cry" and the pro-Obama/Clinton anti-Trump political action group CNN hailing the "rallying cry" and the New York Times writing about "The Silencing" of Elizabeth Warren as if Mitch McConnell through her up on a pinball machine and violated her with a rolled up copy of Roberts Rules of Procedure.
The imagery of a man silencing a woman struck some as all too common, and his language rang familiar with many women who had their own stories of being silenced.
"Nevertheless, she persisted" served as a hashtag-ready motto for women at the ready to break barriers.

And oh boy, did it ever! Here are some more Outraged Snowflakes:
Here,
and here,
and here,
and here,
and here,
and here,
and here,
and here,
and here,
and obviously here as well.
That load of stupid gotten from W Magazine, where I assume the W stands for "Weepy McSandyvag."
"#ShePersisted" is now the Big Stupid for the day on Twitter, and of course the Mansilencing now has its own T-shirt:
Here's another one.
I honestly can't link every stupid t-shirt these dum-dums have made. Just look for "#ShePersisted shirt" on Twitter and you'll see so many stupid designs you'll wonder how the species has survived this long.
This being the left, of course this Orgy of Ritualized Complaining would not be complete without some Social Justice Warriors criticizing the movement for not being sufficiently respectful enough of diversity in all its colors and sizes. Here, a fat woman complains that the people making these wonderful, inspiring, very original shirts have not thought to make them in sizes large enough to accommodate those with Alternate Sizing.
"What a dumb time to be alive."
