Overnight Open Thread: Adorable Animal Videos Edition
"When you've got nothing, go with cute animal videos." -- General Douglas MacArthur, Seizing the Enemy's Mind by the Balls
Cockatoo Mocks Cats, Freaks Them Out
This bird mimics the cats, who don't know quite what the hell to do with this weird-looking cat.
Apparently birds just love annoying cats.
Foxes and Dogs Can Be Friends
Some cute videos of dogs and foxes just hangin' out, bein' buds.
There's also a lot of dog vs. fox fights, which are mostly safe for viewing. The ones I saw, at least, tend to be mostly standoff aggression displays or even attempts at playing or mating.

If you've ever seen baby goats play, you know that all they want to do is headbutt each other. Apparently it's both play for the mating-ritual combats they'll have later in life, as well as a Hey-how-you-doin'-here's-the-top-of-my-head-in-your-face greeting.
Here are some videos of goats attempting to say hello with their foreheads to other animals who don't get the concept of headbutts as handshakes:
Here's a 4-day baby goat and a young (older puppy) dog trying to figure out what games they can play together. The dog wants to play chase; the baby goat wants to play headbutt.
