Wikileaks: Clinton Campaign Manager Jon Podesta Told Hillary to "Dump Those Emails" After Revelation of Secret Illegal Server
No intent. None at all.
Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman directed her former chief of staff to “dump all those emails” the same day a bombshell news report revealed Clinton’s use of a private email server while US secretary of state, WikiLeaks revealed Tuesday.
John Podesta sent the message to Cheryl Mills the evening of March 2, 2015, hours after the New York Times reported that Clinton might have violated federal records requirements by using the server, according to the latest batch of Podesta’s hacked emails.
“Not to sound like Lanny, but we are going to have to dump all those emails so better to do so sooner than later,” Podesta told Mills.]
Now, it's possible "dump those emails" means "dump those emails out into the public," following the old "get it out quickly" advice of crisis communications practice.
But in that case -- Hillary did the opposite of this advice.
Either she followed Podesta's advice to destroy the emails, or she ignored his advice to disclose them. Either way, she showed intent to deceive.
Oh and O Hai -- guess who at the DoJ will be overseeing the new email inquiry?
That's right -- a lawyer who kept Podesta out of jail, according to his own email recommending him, who was also hired to vet possible Democratic appointees.
Oh, and he's an old school chum of Podesta's.
Not a smidgen of corruption -- not even a smidge.
