The Masters of Europe were all pretty certain they were delivering great value to the citizens of Europe -- and when the citizens of Europe told them otherwise, they consoled themselves by reassuring themselves that mere citizens are idiots, barely above animal level in reasoning power, and entirely unequipped to rate the performance of the True Elites.
