Shock: German prosecutors say most suspects in Cologne mob attacks are refugees. By the way, CBS gives this a misleading headline: Germany Blames Cologne Sex Assaults Mostly on Refugees. That makes it sound like the German public is blaming the refugees.
Nope. It's the prosecutors. Seventy three suspects have been identified, who they say are "generally" refugees.
Don Surber looks into this, and finds that Maureen Dowd's explanation for why people hate Hillary's guts is probably accurate.
Mark Krikorian makes a good point. Ideally, we'd like Republicans to say stuff like "we'll of course consider Obama's nominees." But that ideal situation assumes that we trust them to ultimately make the right call. Because we have no trust at all in them -- and that mistrust is wel-earned -- they're forced to make impolitic statements about not even considering his nominees.
And that's just because any sort of ambiguous statement will be construed as selling us out. Because... that is what they've taught us these past several years.
Oh, and Hillary, one of the world's top beneficiaries of whatever White Privilege might actually exist, demands we all recognize White Privielge exists. Then she goes on a coughing jag, which tells us something psychological or something physiological.
