How About A Stupid, Pointless Poll Thread So I Can Take An Hour Off and Shower Myself For the First Time In Three Days
Let me tell you about having the sort of job where you sit in social isolation: You learn pretty quickly which habits of socialization have been internalized, and which remain merely observed due to social pressure. Or not observed, due to an absence of social pressure.
This is not always a happy realization.
The question "Am I dirty and smelly, or, on the down side, unusually dirty and smelly?" isn't one you should have to ask every few days.
Also, the tally shouldn't be running 3-8 in favor of the latter answer. You're really looking for a 50/50 split, or even better.
So anyway, that's my To-Do List for the next hour: Washing my body so that I do not develop pustules and sores.
Meanwhile, someone called strangers on the phone and asked them questions that most people find rude and here's what the dummies who answered said.
onald Trump continues to hold a wide lead among likely Republican primary voters in New Hampshire, according to a new CNN/WMUR tracking poll, with the pack vying for second place is beginning to break up.
Behind Trump's field-leading 29% support, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio climbs to second place with 18% following his strong third place finish in Iowa, followed by Ted Cruz (13%) and John Kasich (12%) in a near-tie for third. Jeb Bush holds fifth place at 10%, a hair behind Cruz and Kasich, with Chris Christie and Carly Fiorina well behind at 4% each.
By the way, Carly Fiorina is protesting her exclusion from Saturday night's debate, as there isn't even an undercard anymore, and because excluding her -- the only real candidate they're excluding (Jim Gilmore doesn't count) -- seems... well, just pointlessly stupid.
Given that Carly has tied Christie, who is all-in in New Hampshire and has generally been thought to be "surging" there as of a few (admittedly long) weeks ago, come on, let Fiorina debate.
