Trump: Shut it Down.

As I said in a previous post, we have duties and obligations to American citizens -- but we have absolutely none at all with respect to non-American foreigners, and we can act in our own ruthless self-interest any time we feel it's necessary, or even just advisable.

Islam is obviously going through something right now. It might be a phase. It might pass.

But it's insane to keep on pretending that everything's just going swimmingly with Muslim immigration to the West. It's not, and it's Orwellian to continue attacking people for speaking this basic truth about it.

Ralph Peters on Fox: Obama is a "Total Pussy." He got suspended for two weeks.

Why? Give me a break on the idea that it's some major breach to say "pussy" in its metaphorical, non-biological sense these days.

If you want to make the point, give him a 48 hour suspension.

We're well past the point where we should be patrolling ourselves to make sure we're "respectful" to this utterly disreputable simpleton pussy.

Everyone: His spokewoman, who is either dumb, or revealing Trump's actual stupidity, says this policy would apply not only to foreign immigrants, but to US citizens abroad trying to re-enter the US after a trip overseas.

When asked by The Hill whether that would include Muslim-American citizens currently abroad, Trump spokeswoman Hope Hicks replied over email: "Mr. Trump says, 'everyone.'"

Well that is so exceedingly stupid and blatantly anti-constitutional that I doubt Hope Hicks knows what she's talking about, or if the not-terribly-scholarly Trump even listened to the question.

But I am glad we're discussing this.

It's pretty clear that the Establishment, in both of its wings, right and left, has taken the position, without ever actually thinking about it, that we cannot discriminate about who we let into this country based on group characteristics.

The Establishment has internalized the idea the anything even vaguely "racist" is the worst evil possible -- even worse than murder, as AG Loretta Lynch recently informed us (in that anti-Muslim speech is apparently the "greatest fear" she worries about).

But we act against groups all the time in foreign policy. If we slap tariffs on Chinese-made goods, we are not giving each Chinese manufacturer a due-process hearing to determine his guilt in the trade breach, or his level of personal support for the regime we're punishing.

When we go to war with a country, we are declaring war on millions -- the great bulk of which are non-combatants, and many of whom, maybe almost half, would take personal satisfaction in seeing their leadership tried at the Hague.

The 1965 Kennedy immigration act deliberately skewed immigration to favor the non-Western world, in a planned attempt to make America less white, and less Christian.

When exactly did this particular political goal of the left become not only beloved by the left but by the the establishment right as well?

There is no law that says we must accept a certain level of immigrants from, say, Libya. Well, there is a law, but it's merely that: a law pushed by Ted Kennedy to try to make America more multicultural.

We can change that at any time we feel it doesn't serve our interests.

I happen to believe it hasn't been serving our interests for a while.

Yet the typical people scream "racism" when we come to any conclusion, beside Ted Kennedy's, about what our immigration policy should look like.

The problem, then, is anyone "respectable" is filled with these stupid ideas transmitted uncritically like diseases from the Leftward Herd to the Rightward Herd, and the only sort of person capable of challenging the Herd Non-Thought of the enormously stupid, inaccurately-named "Elite" class must be someone who is, by nature, utterly disreputable.

And then that gets us to the problem we're faced with, in which a man who is palpably unqualified by experience or temperament to be the president of the United States is simultaneously the only person of any prominence capable of brushing aside the cheap, insipid religious dogmas of our secular priestly castes and speak a (stupid, rude form of) the truth about things.
