Indonesian Newlyweds Take a Honeymoon of Extreme Vengeance

Tough but fair.

A newlywed Indonesian couple have been arrested over claims they dined on the genitals of the woman's suspected rapist after her husband allegedly murdered him and cut off his private parts, police said on Tuesday (Nov 17).

The victim's body was found in a burnt-out van after a suspected revenge attack sparked by claims from the new wife she was raped a week before her wedding on Sumatra island.

Um, actually, if you read further, it gets darker. The woman says she was raped by the guy; it turns out this guy happens to be someone she used to date. The husband became enraged upon finding out she wasn't a virgin, and she said this guy she used to date raped her right before the wedding.

Basically it sounds like she lied to deflect the anger of this lunatic away from himself, and he went out and killed the guy, and then... ate his genitals.

"I was so outraged," Efendi told reporters after his arrest last month, adding that deciding to eat the victim's genitals was "to cure my heartache".

I usually listen to "Vera" on The Wall, but I can see killing a man and eating his dick, too.

So... well, kind of not the sort of story I thought it was.

In happier news, the husband has just been offered refugee status by Barack Obama.
