Dianne Feinstein: I Read the Daily Intelligence Reports and ISIS is Not "Contained," It's Expanding

Well, she reads the intelligence briefing. Obama is just trying to get the kinks out of his long-putting game.

Democrats are trying to save Obama from himself. But a man congenitally incapable of questioning himself or admitting he was wrong cannot be saved.

"We have been talking about the president's strategy, he reiterated his strategy today," Mitchell said to begin the interview. "You have said before that 50 special forces is not enough. What would it take to defeat ISIS?"

"Well, let me begin by saying this; I have never been more concerned," Feinstein said. "I read the intelligence faithfully. ISIL is not contained, ISIL is expanding. They just put out a video saying it is their intent to attack this country…"

"There’s only one way we are going to diminish them and that is by taking them out, because they are growing. They are in more than a dozen countries now, they are sophisticated, they have apps to communicate on that cannot be pierced even with a court order."

"They are on the march. It is important to recognize this and prepare to deal with it with action. And candidly, I don't think bombing runs alone, we have done about 8,000 now, can really make a difference."

Video at the link. By the way, the threat was specifically made against Washington, DC, which you'd think would get King Putt's attention, but not so much.

Joe Scarborough asked Mika Brezinsky if Obama looked like an "engaged" commander in chief is his disastrous press conference. Mika sat silently, unable to say yes, and ultimately said that we had to do more.

JOE SCARBOROUGH: I want to ask you, come on, our show is still our show. We just have to, let's be honest about it. Did that Commander-in-Chief, sitting in a G-20 summit while Western civilization is coming to terms with what their new reality looks like, does he look like he is engaged and understands the level of threat?

MIKA: [silence]

JOE SCARBOROUGH: If you were a Frenchman or a French woman would you be reassured by what you've been hearing from this president today and over the weekend?

MIKA: [More silence.]

Another reliable progressive agitator who thinks Obama's out of his depth: Christiana Amanapour.

Yes, even this Terrorist Tokyo Rose doesn't believe Obama's claims.

"He said something that was pretty incredible, according to many of the military experts here and around the world who I have spoken to, that our strategy is working. People do not believe that to be the case,’" Amanpour said.

Anderson Cooper tried to defend Obama's comments by saying that the president was referring to geographical containment on the ground. Amanpour shot back.

"Fine, but in terms of ability they are not contained. They just slaughtered 129 people in Paris. The death toll may rise very higher because there are 352 people injured, of whom 99 are critically wounded. So the question is to have an honest conversation now about a new strategy," Amanpour said.

Obama's lost many of his former cultists -- but Anderson Cooper's still very much involved with the church.
