Carly Fiorina Still Tangling With the Ugly, Ghoul-Faced Shrills of "The View"
It started with The View hosts making fun of Fiorina's face and saying it looked "like a Halloween mask."
But wait, you say -- surely they were among the gaggle of SJW harridans screaming about Trump's "her face" line, right?
Why yes they were, and and CNN's Brook Something called them out for it.
Carly Fiorina alluded to this on Sunday, saying "of course" there's a "double standard" for conservative women.
"And conservative women from Sarah Palin to Michele Bachmann to Carly Fiorina are long used to this," Fiorina said. "It will not stop me. It will not scare me and maybe, the ladies of 'The View,' if I come back on again, let’s see if they have the guts to say that to my face"
Now the ugly, former drug addict Whoopie Goldberg says something incoherent as usual in response to Fiorina's observation.
On Monday's "The View," Goldberg argued that the last time Fiorina was on the show "we welcomed you to our table. We helped raise your profile so you would be included in the sea of men. You weren't worried about any kind of Republican backlash. Nobody was backlashing. We were respectful and gave you your due."
Um... right. Just making "her face" jokes, because it's okay for liberal women to do that, just not Republican men.
And this reveals the opportunism here in both having Fiorina on and "giving her her due" and the "face" comments: Fiorina is merely a catspaw to be used against the people more likely to win the Republican nomination. When it's just Fiorina, and she can't be used to attack Trump or Carson or whoever, then they savage her.
They only give her "her due" when they want to attack Republicans.
And that's no knock on Fiorina -- I'm no saying she lets herself be used this way. I'm saying that's The View twits' (sp?) only interest in "giving her her due."
Fiorina will appear on The View on Friday. Fiorina says she's fearless since her cancer, and I kind of believe her -- I'm hoping that she makes them look so bad they refuse to run the show.
