Hillary Clinton on Hiding Her Emails From Everyone Except Foreign Intelligence Services: What Can I Say, People, Except M'Bad

Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton finally apologized for her use of a private email server while secretary of state in an interview with ABC on Tuesday.

"That was a mistake," Clinton said. "I'm sorry about that, I take responsibility, and I’m trying to be as transparent as I possibly can."

The clip was an excerpt from an interview with ABC World News Tonight anchor David Muir, which is slated to broadcast in full Tuesday night. It marks a major change in rhetoric for Clinton, who has been adamant that nothing she did regarding her use of a private server merited an apology.

On her "I'm trying to be as transparent as I can" line -- Dana Perino pointed out on The Five tonight that Hillary has broken and re-broken the exact same "Hillary is going to be more spontaneous and transparent" story four or five times this cycle alone, and the press always reports this as if this is a genuine and new news story, instead of what it is -- the same lie she's told four times before with great press fanfare.

In fact, this eternal story -- that Hillary will be showing a new, more spontaneous, more human side -- has been re-"broken" dozens of times since the 1990s:

How many times will the media carry her water in proclaiming the New, Unscripted, Human Hillary?

By the way, she showed off her totes new, unscripted side just a couple of hours ago.

Boy that Hillary -- they should have named her Hilarious Rodham Clinton, because that's what she is!!!

And here's one of Hillary's first initiatives in being human, warm, accessible and transparent: The State Department (which she used to head, and which undoubtedly still has many of her partisans within it) will be "building a case" against the Intelligence Community slandering the very human Hillary.

The State Department is working on a document analysis to refute the intelligence community's findings that some of Hillary Clinton's emails should have been marked "top secret" when sent.

John Kirby, the agency's spokesman, said Tuesday the State Department was building a case against the intelligence community's conclusion "based on documents that only we have."

"We would continue to maintain that any conclusion about the classification of the documents in question is premature," Kirby said.

So there.

This comes on the heels, by the way, of a second review also agreeing with the Inspector General that these were indeed TS/SCI (Top Secret/Secret Compartmented Information) emails.

But Hillary just wants that one document she can point to where she says "Oh this has all been debunked and discredited."

Just like Planned Parenthood paid for their own "analysis" to prove those hidden camera videos were "heavily edited" and "misleading."

Oh, and part of Hillary's New, Human, Warm, Unscripted and Transparent initiative 12.1 (beta), she's calling for more transparency in donations.

I guess like with the Clinton Foundation donations, the emails about which she destroyed.
