Hillary Talks with #BlackLivesMatter The Only Way She Knows How: Awkwardly

A lot of "mmm-hms" by Hillary.

Before getting to the videos, remember that Hillary is very skilled at interactions with human "Everyday People:"

Eye Contact -- One of the easiest ways to make an everyday person feel that you really care about what they are saying, even if you are secretly counting the seconds until you can return to the plush leather "safe space" in your luxury van. This is particularly useful for a extremely wealthy person who is forced to interact with a commoner on the commoner's home turf.

Head Nod -- A critical tool of everyday human interaction, especially when paired with meaningful eye contact. It makes the commoner feel as though you agree with them, and can empathize with their everyday concerns even if you can't.

Hillary was at a bit of a disadvantage here, because she lacked the key advantage of Having a Cup of Water she could sip while nodding deeply and maintaining eye contact.

Watch her put these principles of dealing with Humans into practice (but watch her miss her prop cup of water).

One gets the impression from Hillary that she's doing this under some duress, perhaps as a way to avoid an on-stage confrontation later like Bernie Sanders endured. Her body language is guarded and defensive -- and her entourage looks like they’re in the middle of an ambush interview themselves. Her tone is clearly condescending, almost lecturing at the end.

By the end of the exchange, Hillary is vowing to not speak to black people at all on these issues. No seriously -- misunderstanding (?) what the #BLM guy is saying, she announces that henceforth she will only address white people.

That's not a joke; she really said that (second video). Furthermore, she isn't saying it as in "a pox on you then!" She is actually offering that as a way forward; she is actually attempting to strike a deal in which she only talks to white people about these issues.

Pretty sad that that's where we are.
