Um...The NYSE Is Shutdown Because...Um, No One Seems To Know Why

Update:

2 U.S. Officials tell NBC's Pete Williams that there are no signs of a cyber attack at NYSE. And no signs that United and NYSE are linked.

I'm watching CNBC and it seems all the terminals are down on the floor. No one knows what happened but the trading system seems to be down.

Pretty sure there was a Tom Clancy novel about this.

Not to freak everyone out but Dave in Texas points out that United's network went down this morning and they had to ground all their flights.

So perhaps...FREAK OUT.

Wall Street Journal's web page is also down.

Other markets seems to be ok and stocks that are cross listed are still being traded on other markets.
