In Baltimore, Reporters Catch "Protesters" Spinning False Testimony About a "Police Shooting" in Real Time

Here is what the situation appeared to be:

A man, standing I think at the front of a block of "protesters," reached into his pants. Police attempted to arrest him.

The man went to the ground.

Pictures of the man on the ground did not show blood.

But the man was carted off to the hospital.

"Protesters" claimed he had been shot without cause. They began spinning claims of police provoking the "protesters" with nightsticks and teargas.

Later, a beat-up old revolver was seen on the ground near where the man had been standing, before he fell.

Another report said this gun was dropped by the man, and discharged when it hit the ground.

FoxNews reporter Mike Tobin, on the scene, however, claimed he heard only one shot, which seemed to dispel that last report -- if the gun discharged when it hit the ground, and if the cops shot the guy, that's at least two shots, if not more.

Police are now saying There was no shooting at all.

Police now say they man was running down the street, and dropped his gun as he did. There the gun discharged. But no police fired their weapons.

What Action News Shep reported breathlessly as a police shooting appears to be nothing more than the police making an arrest without incident of a criminal carrying a revolver.

Shep Smith, who of course hyped the shit out of this because he's a dishonest leftist agitator (remember the Superdome?), is now eating huge piles of shit over this.

This is possibly the most embarrassing false report filed by FoxNews, and it is little surprise to me that Action News Shep is in the center of it.

An enormous embarrassment, for which Fox will be rightly mocked.

But the mockers will not be quick to point out the embarrassment was courtesy of Fox's midday MSNBC host -- for some reason, Fox lets an MSNBC host do their breaking news -- or that his embarrassment was caused by attempting to promote leftist narratives.
