Ted Cruz....You'll Never Believe This But I'm Running For President

Not exactly a shock given all the signals over the last two years or so but now it's official.

He'll be doing a more traditional announcement speech later today at Liberty University.

I like Cruz on shrinking government, kind of less thrilled on his hawkish foreign policy but interested to see how that plays out but not being a social-con it's hard to see getting too excited about him.

But let's be honest, the odds of him winning the nomination are pretty low and he'd probably be a disaster in the general (though not much worse than Jeb will be).

I'm looking forward to liberals suddenly discovering freshmen Senators aren't experienced enough to be President and conservatives discovering they are.

Oh and Birthers...yes, he's eligible to be President.
