IS Kidnaps Two Japanese Citizens In Time for Japan PM's First Trip to Middle East; Demands Ransom of $200 Million, Else They Be Beheaded
This is our world now.
Thanks, Obama!
The Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) on Tuesday threatened to kill two Japanese hostages unless it receives $200 million US in 72 hours, directly demanding the ransom from Japan's premier during his visit to the Middle East.
Prime Minister Shinzo Abe vowed to save the men, saying: "Their lives are the top priority."
However, Abe and other Japanese officials declined to say whether they'd make the payment to save the men...
Abe had some tough talk for these IS thugs.
"It is unforgivable," said Abe, now on a six-day visit to the Middle East with more than 100 government officials and presidents of Japanese companies. He added: "Extremism and Islam are completely different things."
Well that ought to do it then.
It's incredible. It's like the world's been hypnotized. Islamist monsters perpetrate some fresh hell on earth, and world leaders can only drone: "Islam is peace. This has nothing to do with Islam."
Speaking of things having nothing to do with Islam, two planes were grounded at JFK after a bomb threat. The threat was made against a plane bearing the flight number 468, but two Delta planes operate under that number. One plane came in from SF; one was due to take off for Tel Aviv. (!)
Well, I think I know which plane they meant.
You know, extremism and Islam are completely different things.
The planes were swept and no bombs were found.
