Mostly Peaceful Protesters Attempt to Kill Police With Their Cars in Both NYC and Philadelphia
At the Holland Tunnel, where, by the way, cops are stationed to protect against terrorism.
Heather Nauert updated us on the frightening situation this morning, saying that the suspect was heard yelling "I want to kill cops" outside the Holland Tunnel in New York City.
One of the police officers was able to jump out of the way at the last second. The vehicle was traveling in a restricted fire lane being patrolled by the officers and ended up smashing into a police cruiser.
Matthew Cash reportedly told police at the scene that he was high on angel dust and synthetic marijuana was found in the car.
And in Philly:
The cop is in stable condition:
Philadelphia police officer fired his weapon at a driver after being run over in Strawberry Mansion, a law enforcement source tells Action News.
The incident took place around 11:35 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of 32nd Street and Susquehanna Avenue.
Police say two 22nd police district officers pulled over a vehicle.
The source says the driver sped off, dragging one the officers and running over both of his legs.
The media claims they're not running the Charlie cartoons because they have to worry about the lives of foreign correspondents serving in dangerous, by which is meant "Muslim," countries.
I don't remember the media toning down its deliberately-provocative Ferguson Riot Festival coverage, though.
Is that because cops' lives are worth less than journalists'?
And if this is so -- is this because cops didn't go to Good Colleges like the journalists did?
On that, by the way: How many journalists actually did go to "good colleges"? Most of them seem rather dim, and the ones on TV seem to have been plucked out of weather gigs in Poughkipsie because they're of average or better looks, not based on educational achievement.
