24 Hours With Joe Biden
Last night, good 'ol Joe was visiting with the Harvard Institute of Politics when a question came from the vice president of the student body (video below). Notice, of course, how the CNN talking head explains what the audience is about to see: "Sometimes Joe Biden says stuff".
Vice President Joe Biden joked that his job can be a "bitch" while speaking to students on Thursday night. During an event at Harvard University's Institute of Politics, Biden took a question from a senior who introduced himself as the vice president of the student body. "Ain't that a bitch?" Biden replied. "I mean … excuse me, the vice president thing?" He quickly added: "I’m joking, I’m joking. Best decision I ever made." His remarks were met with laughter.
Just Joe being Joe.
After last night's jolly good time, it was off to Joplin, Missouri. Joplin was hit by a brutal tornado in May of 2011 that took the lives of 161 people. Here's the Vice President commenting on that (video below).
"161,000 brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, grandparents lost," said the vice president.
Close enough, I suppose. Joe's so silly sometimes.
And off we go to an appearance at the Chamber of Commerce to talk about the city of Detroit and some new money sinkhole project doomed to inevitable failure. Take it away, Joe (video below).
Vice President Joe Biden, speaking earlier today at the Chamber of Commerce, talked of inner city Detroit women from the "hood," which is apparently slang for neighborhood
Well, crazy Uncle Joe is just having fun. Our president is currently dealing with the Ebola situation a little more seriously, thankfully.
