House Readies Another Border Control Bill, This One Limiting DACA (The Executive Law Granting Amnesty to Young Illegals)
The Senate's already gone home for their five week vacation, or, as they call it in the government, their "Service."
The House, however, is preparing some kind of new bill. The last bill consisted of two bills, actually -- the first, which Boehner wanted, and the second, that conservatives wanted, stopping the DACA Amnesty (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, a law passed by the executive alone, unconstitutionally).
Boehner and other Establishment types don't like this second bill. They sort of want to say to their constituents that they're against Obama's Executive Law, without taking any actual action against that Executive Law. Too "mean" or something, you see.
So the new bill will fold that one into the main bill. As a compromise in the caucus, and to not be "mean," it won't undo the illegal Executive Law completely, but will state that DACA cannot apply to illegals arriving January 1st 2014 or later.
That, I think, is the plan.
Correction: I must have misunderstood Allah's post. DrewM. says:
I'm not sure there is a correct answer at the moment but last I heard DACA isn't in the House border bill. It'll be a stand alone vote.
From Susan Ferrechio, a Washington Examiner reporter:

Apologies for the error.
