Dick Durbin: If Congress Doesn't Pass the Amnesty Democrats Favor, Obama Will Have to "Borrow" Congress' Constitutional Authority to Make the Law
And here we go.
Meanwhile, Charles Krauthammer observes that if Obama were a Republican, he'd already be impeached for serial abuse of power.
Referring to the NLRB ruling, he says:
"It's a major rebuke," the columnist explained. "I mean, this is -- when there's 9 and nobody on the other side, including the two Justices you appointed. When the opinion is written by a leading liberal [Justice Breyer], and in which it shows really contempt for what the president did, he obviously trampled on the constitutional powers."
"This is a major statement to the president," he claimed. "Watch how you're walking outside of the boundaries of what you can do."
...
Worse, the columnist believes Obama understands he's abusing his power. "But I don’t think he cares," Krauthammer asserted. "He's in his second term. He's not running again. They will never impeach him. He has nothing to lose. He has an ideological agenda he wants to enact."
Krauthammer notes that Obama's actions serve as precedents for future presidents, which raises a question I wish our corrupt media would ask him:
Do you, President Obama, endorse and support a Republican President's assertion of the same powers you assert? Do you suggest that other presidents follow you follow your model of presidential power?
Would you support a Tea Party president writing the immigration law himself as well?
