After two months and change, Test falls apart at the seams.

Of course I say that while GSF/CFC look to do the unthinkable with renting space to the serfs

Really haven't played many games this week due to watching The International 3 (it's on right now as this is posted here), working and working and what not. Outside of my daily Ascension addiction on my iPad, my gaming time has been in Dragon's Crown.

Very happy that VanillaWare has a hit on their hands with Dragon's Crown as the praise has been very much spot on outside of a few niggling issues. After you finish a stage and appraise your loot in the tavern, you're kicked out into town which forces you to go back into the tavern to summon your NPC allies. Also, the fighting is good but when you have all of your crazy spells going off, you do on occasion lose your character in the chaos which since I'm #TeamLife with the Sorceress, you'll take some cheap hits. And though I'm not finished with the New Game+, I wish they didn't go down the "Princess is in another castle" route in getting you into it. That being said, starting to lean to this being my GOTY so far.

• Though I'm bummed that you only get to fly one ship in this one, the upcoming X Rebirth looks damn good. And we finally get a release date, November 15th

• Though it may not be the better Shinovi Versus game, Xseed announced that Senran Kagura Burst for the 3DS is coming stateside as a download title. Would have liked the more pervy game for the Vita as I liked the mousu style gameplay compared to the straight up brawler that was on the 3DS but I'll take it anyways

• No crossplay between PC and PS4 versions of Planetside 2. Should be expected as there is a big advantage compared to kb+m vs controller

• During this week's Nintendo Direct, they showed new footage of the upcoming Wind Waker HD remake. IMO, the only good 3D Zelda game.

• We also got footage of the upcoming Zelda: A Like Between Worlds, a direct sequel to the best Zelda game, A Link To The Past

• The game is going to bomb HARD but The Wonderful 101 looks really good

• Microsoft throws Skype, TV Guide, their NFL stuff and videogame recording behind their Live paywall. Eh, I guess? All of the Xbox consoles have made Live essential so I don't see why it would change now.

• They stopped letting people sign up for it in March but Microsoft announced on August 27th that they will just straight up convert all four gamertags into their own separate accounts

• Unboxing video of the Xbox One

• Microsoft shows off their Kudu inspired Project Spark in a 40 minute demo.

• Amazon looking to release an Ouya type device?"

• While John Carmack winds down his aerospace startup, Armadillo Aerospace, he joins Oculus as their Chief Technology Officer

• The Ducktales remake comes out this week on the Wii U, PS3 and PC for $15

• The sequel to the surprise hit, Payday comes out for the PC, PS3 and 360 for $30

• SPACE HULK!!!!! for PC. $30
