Well, it's hit the 6 week mark and Test (people we're invading) is nowhere to be seen outside of an occasional token resistance welp. So sad :(
Haven't beaten it yet but so far I'm really digging Shadowrun Returns. Gameplay isn't the most indepth and it's difficulty range isn't high but it's a nice little cohesive hard boiled murder mystery. Is it worth the $20? Eh, I think it is but you wouldn't be missing much if you wait for a sale as a lot of it's perceived value is based on the community making stuff for it akin to how the original Neverwinter Night games where. It already two good community campaigns, Life on a Limb and A Lost Lamb.
NEWS
SPACE HULK!!!! The pre-order is up on Steam for the PC version for a whopping $30.....ugh. Though I dug their Tactical Soldier games on the iPad, I'm going to need reviews before I personally think of buying it. Out on the 15th for PC and "Later" for the iOS devices.

Another quarter, another shedding of WoW players as it's down to 7.7 million subscribers from the 8.3 million it was at. Be nice if Blizzard would finally start showing off their Titan MMO project

This is an older game (came out in February but they're now adding support for the Oculus Rift)
From the video: "Custom Maid 3D : Penis controller gameplay. The Japanese gamer can play with a penis pad, called Ju-C Air, for the erotic game Custom Maid 3D. The goal ? To seduce girls and get laid with them. Unbelievable!"
It's all cued up to watch the action here (NSFW)
And people wonder why the Japanese population is shrinking
Microsoft is mad that Game Informer leaked that one fo their big surprises for Gamescon is what everyone expected them to announce at their Build Conference in that you can in fact self-publish on the upcoming Xbox One but with a new wrinkle in that every off the shelf consumer console can be turned into a debug kit (that I will have to see to believe).
Stardock buys the Star Control IP and Wargaming (World of Tanks) buys the Total Annihilation and Master of Orion IPs
After a month of being on sale, only 27% of the owners of the emulation box, Ouya has bought a game.
New releases for the week of July 28th
Rise of the Triad returns to the PC on the 31st. Can pre-order it at Steam or GOG. And if you pre-order it, you get the Apogee Throwback bundle that includes the Blake Stone games and the original Rise of the Triad and it's expansions, Dark War and Extreme Rise of the Triad for free. Not bad for $15
Not gonna lie, I didn't know Bohemia was doing a mars rover take in their Take On series which is kinda sad as it's a subject that interests me and it's developer that I pay attention to. But anyways, it's a game that focuses on piloting different mars rovers. You can pre-order it at Bohemia's website which gives you a steam key for $12.99. Expect the game to make your pc chug
The third expansion pack to Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Vengence comes out this week for the 360 (with a month later on the PS3 and PC)
And I'm out,
