The tides are once again turning in the EVE universe as we (CFC) have gotten the wind back into our sails this past week demolishing Test & Friend's battleships and carriers. Wednesday, the fireworks started and I mean litterly as our bombers decimated a N3 (enemies) Dominix fleet in glorious fashion

And on the 4th of July, we caught a fleet of carriers out by themselves (bad idea) and just started bubbling them to hell and back while pouring reinforcement fleets one after another into the system. The battle lasted a good 6 hours and it was glorious. Or at least it was until CCP did what it does best by pissing in the sandbox with an "oops" moment of shutting down the server letting Test & Friends to escape their fate in one of the biggest battles in EVE history.

A day and a half goes by and they finally get out of the system and into 3WE where the pain train continued where Test (people we're invading) left their allies to die a slow death as CFC mopped the floor of them.

This momentum at least to this low SP grunt feels more significant that after the Battle of B-D in the early days of this invasion. There is a really nice cohesion to our three main fleets.

Okay, enough with EVE and onto actual gaming stuff

You know, there is a reason why publishers don't give money to Tim Schaifer and Double Fine anymore. Also, going public with that right after their second kickstarter project (Massive Chalice) finished up with funding really is one classy move

After fixing Robbie Bach's mistake ridden tenure at Microsoft, Don Mattrick looks to fix Zynga and the current hole that they put themselves into by becoming their new CEO. Can't blame the dude, the package they're giving him is really damn nice.

Now, he really isn't doing anything at Cave due to their current financial problems but damn. Them losing their Head of Development is a damn shame with all the games he has headed up the last 6 years or so.

JAST USA to bring the PC port of the awesome visual novel, Steins;Gate to the US. Guess this means I have to buy it since I played the Japan release with the fan made English translation.

The next Grasshopper Manufacture bomb, Killer is Dead finally gets a US release date (August 27th) and a collector's edition. I'm really looking forward to this game. They also released a new video promoting it.

A direct feed of the E3 video for Destiny came out and it looks good

Miyamoto once again acknowledges that Nintendo lives in a bubble. How they didn't see everyone say that moving into the HD era is quite taxing over the last 8 years or so is anyone's guess.

In the rare world of Fire Emblem merch, the best character in Fire Emblem: Awakening, Tharja get's her own statue and it's beautiful. Run ya $85 plus shipping from Japan though

Remember folks, the new expansion to Civilization V comes out tonight/tomorrow.
