Overnight Open Thread (6 July 2013)
Thurston, we have a problem. If they'll lie about something as mundane as this, they'll lie about anything (and they have). Their behavior says a lot about the press. They KNOW the press will carry their water and aren't afraid of being called out on their lies. Although it is surprising that it was CBS that pushed the Kerry boat thing. Probably just a mistake.
Russian Reset
Perhaps SecState could get off his yacht for a bit and stop fixating on a forever elusive Palestinian/Israeli peace thingy and focus on the Russians. You know, the guys that are testing a new missile in violation of the '87 Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces treaty and building their own missile defense. Perhaps it is time to stop being so "flexible" with the Russians since the election is over.
Wodka Vodka Ad
I wonder if Bannion had anything to do with this?
LEGO Shoes
I wouldn't run in these LEGO stilettos. Actually, you'd be OK. I wouldn't run with the LEGO prosthetic leg though.
Greatest First Pitch Ever?
Mesmerizing.

Interesting Read
Physicist Michio Kaku on building a Death Star and the Silicon Valley brain drain. Sadly, our public education system is failing to address the issue of the Silicon Valley brain drain.
Another casualty of the decline in interest surrounding science and even math is the US education system, which Kaku describes as the most dysfunctional among advanced capitalist countries.
"Fifty percent of the top engineers and grunts doing the work in Silicon Valley are foreign-born and that is unsustainable," Kaku says. "One day, the brain drain will reverse -- it's starting to happen. Now top scientists are starting to go back to China and back to India. That's why our education cannot continue to be one of the worst known to science."
I'm sure Common Core will fix this. Yeah, right.

If fapping counts, morons will be golden. Regular sex can make you look 7 years younger. Hopefully that's not in dog years.
