One Week till E3

This is gonna be a quickie as wisdom teeth suck but these painkillers rock.

Dark Souls 2 is coming, sadly it's not this year but rather March 2014. Hope this means that it will be cross gen other wise it will be just the PC release for me. Guess this is the start of their "balls deep" PR blitz for the game.

Saw some big name releases this past week for the iOS:

Warhammer Quest, which is an awesome port of the boardgame. There is IAP but it's ala cart, $3 each for three classes (battle priest, troll hunter and the archmage) and a expansion pack which doubles the length of the game for another $5. Gold is stupid to buy as you get tons of gold during play which can be argued that you get too much while playing. For $5 in just the base game, you will at least get 10 hours out of it. Only two downsides in the amount of time I've sunk into it (just under 12 hours) which is there is a bit of stability issues but thankfully it constantly saves so you're not going to have to redo much of anything and who ever designed that you need to rotate the ipad into portrait mode to get into inventory should be taken out back and shot.
The Phoenix Wright trilogy in HD has finally been released. They did a pretty good job as you can see with the free two cases in the first game. And considering how much you get, I honestly don't find the $16.99 price to be too absurd.

Also first Knights of the Old Republic game came out. Honestly haven't checked out in how well it does with touchscreen but the feedback has been pretty good.

Tetris creator, Alexey Pajitnov has released a new game by the name of Marbly

To tide people's blood thirst for the upcoming Agricola iOS port, Playdek has released a trailer as the game gets resubmitted due to a multiplayer bug

Upcoming PSN game Rain gets a new trailer and a release month (August). Very much looking forward to this game

They alluded to it during PS4 reveal but we didn't know it was going to be mandated. I guess if you can't get people to make games for your handheld, you do the next best thing by mandating that every PS4 game have remote play. Hopefully it doesn't suck as bad as the PS3->PSP remote play

Blizzard's Titan MMO that is supposed to follow up World of Warcaft, has been delayed.

Soulkey grabs the first Heart of the Swarm Championship in glorious fashion against Innovation. The underdog came back after everyone feared a lame 4-0 as Soulkey seemed to not have a clue on how to stop Innovation's micro attacks. One of the greatest chokejobs that I've seen in quite awhile.
