Sunday Morning Book Thread 01-20-2013: The Upholstery That Dare Not Speak Its Name [OregonMuse]
I have nothing to be ashamed of.
Good morning morons and moronettes and welcome to this week's promiscuously plump, brazenly cushioned, and provocatively upholstered Sunday Morning Book Thread.
Look, you all know that the couch was just asking for it, right? I mean, c'mon, who hasn't thought about it now and again? He just couldn't help himself.
That said, he probably should have invested in one of these.
Morons What Write Books
This week, I have lots of moron authors' books to pimp tell you all about, so let's get started:
Moron Gregory of Yardale announced in the book thread comments last week that his new novel, Worlds Apart Book 05: Aurora, has just been published as an eBook. You can get it in .pdf, ePub, or Mobi file formats. Note that this is the 5th book in the series. Here are the previous four, which you might want to read first:
Worlds Apart Book 01 - Meridian
Worlds Apart Book 02 - EdenWorld
Worlds Apart Book 03 - Bodicea
Worlds Apart Book 04 - Winter
___________
Moron commenter E.C. (Cam) Williams' latest novel in his "Westerly Gales" series is Into Uncharted Seas, available as a Kindle e-book on Amazon. The action takes place in the future after mankind undergoes a precipitous decline into pre-industrial technology. The previous books in the series are:
Westerly Gales
The Cruise of the Albatross
Cam pleads with me:
My fellow morons and moronettes are humbly requested to buy this book, to keep me in Val-U-Rite vodka for another week or so.
So, do a fellow moron a solid, will you?
___________
Moronette Tungsten Monk also has a new book out, Thief of Midnight, which I heard about from an e-mail her father sent me, who comments under the name 'Brown Line'. He says
It is a terrific story, an urban fantasy about ghoul hunters who patrol the mean streets of Chicago
Which makes me wonder, how many other AoSHQ morons are related to each other? Personally, I have yet to encounter anyone in real life who has even heard of AosHQ.
___________
Long time moron Todd Wiley has written a novel consisting of 4 stories dealing with horror, paranormal, alternative history and a bit of speculative theology, called The Nature of Your Need, available as an eBook from Amazon for only 99 cents.
For those of you who have e-mailed me recommendations and info about your own books that didn't make this week's thread, don't worry, I'll get to you in a subsequent thread.
___________
So that's all for this week, fellow upholsterers. As always, book thread tips, suggestions, rumors, and insults may be sent to OregonMuse, Proprietor, AoSHQ Book Thread, at aoshqbookthread@gmail.com.
Life is too short to read lousy books. So I hope you all have been reading something good this week.
