"Homeland" Star Claire Danes: Bill Clinton Told Me He Was a Big Fan and Asked If I Would Meet Him "In Some Special Room"

Story's at Politico, if you want to find it. There's nothing more to the article than that -- there is no explanation of this special room, or what special activities might be had in it. Danes doesn't appear to be saying Clinton hit on her, and Politico doesn't write the article as if they think he did, either.

So everyone's pretending it's just normal that Bill Clinton asks a 30 year old to be "in some special room." Maybe he wants to minister to her.

Politico also fails to pick up on this:

When she arrived, Clinton was “talking to Jessica Alba and Rosario Dawson,” Danes said. “I thought, ‘Wow.’ He’s amazing. He’s, you know, an icon.”

"Icon" is one word for it. Maybe not the best.

Clinton was at the Golden Globes to introduce the film Lincoln for an award and ask random actresses if they would go to a special room with him but mostly to ask random actresses if they would go to a special room with him.

Politics is Hollywood for ugly people and Hollywood is politics for stupid people.
