Election Night Liveblog

Good evening morons, moronettes and assorted Internet folk. This, right here, is what we've been waiting for since we sat forlornly looking at the el-cheapo, pre-broken plastic skittles-shitting unicorn we got in November 2008 thanks to the 53% idiots being suckered by those commercials that made it look all cool and stuff.

No more! At worst, the SCOAMF/T limps across the goal line having run out the clock with a big assist from the replacement refs in the MFM. But the only mandate he'll have will be Reggie Love.

And, of course, there's the upside case. We may just have us a new President-elect. I doubt he'll surround himself with the trappings of the titular office like you-know-who did.

We'll know shortly, Lord willing.

In honor of the momentousness of this occasion, the old liveblog software has been brought out of retirement. Or, rather, bought out. It better not suck.

Also, in addition to the usual liveblog cast of characters, CAC's AoSHQ Decision Desk tweets will also appear in the chat stream, so you'll simultaneously be the most entertained and informed people on the planet as the results roll in.
