Corrected: I initially called Bowles a "Clinton adviser." He was in fact Clinton's Chief of Staff. A bit more than an "adviser." Thanks to @drewmtips for that.

He also reminded me that this is Obama's handpicked leader for the deficit reduction commission, called Bowles-Simpson, for Erskine Bowles (D) and Alan Simpson (R).
