Christie Under Serious Consideration For Veep?
And is Romney panicking?
Bill Kristol teases a small dose of sketchy information:
Speaking of Christie: As of Friday, when we wrote the editorial [weighing Ryan v. Rubio as picks], we’d been led to believe Christie wasn't in serious consideration. We now have reason to think he may be.
Eh, not much there.
Speaking of Bobby Jindal, even though we weren't:
The aide in charge of the Mitt Romney's vice presidential search is traveling with the presumptive Republican nominee in Colorado Thursday as he campaigns with some prominent GOP governors rumored to be on the running-mate shortlist.
Romney will be joined Thursday by Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie at a rally at a high school in Basalt, Colo. Each of the governors has been thought to be a potential vice presidential pick.
This could possibly be connected to Krisol's Christie-in-the-mix report. Maybe Romney's veep-hunting aide interviewed Christie.
