Alred Says Herman Cain Offered Accuser "His Version of a Stimulus Package"

If the pantomime was some kind of a sexual assault when first performed, is it now kosher on the replay? Apparently so.
Obviously she's a nut, a hack, and clown, a buffoon, a pure figure of ridicule. It doesn't say much for this accuser's judgment that of all the shysters in the world it struck her as a good idea to have this retard represent her.
Of course, there are other reasons to be suspicious of Herman Cain.
Before the Ryan plan was rolled out, I did not know the terms "defined benefit" and "defined contribution" (the latter is where "premium support" comes in).
But the Ryan plan did roll out, and I quickly learned the distinction was between a set, defined benefit flowing to a Medicare client -- whatever you need, we'll pay almost all of it, no matter by how much that exceeds what you paid in -- and defined contribution -- your contribution is the set amount here, and if you need more than this, you'll have to make up for it yourself by tossing in additional monies for supplemental insurance.
Defined benefit means that if there's a gap between benefit and contribution, the federal government kicks in the rest, sucking additional money from all the taxpayers and borrowing against future taxes. This is why we're going bankrupt.
Defined contribution means that if there's a gap between benefit and contribution, the covered individual has to make up the difference.
That's where the idea premium support comes in. The Ryan Plan calls for, I think, an $11,000 per year subsidy for people on Medicare to purchase their own insurance. This will easily cover younger seniors. But for older seniors, and sicker seniors, the cost of insurance might be $14,000 or $15,000. The $11,000 then is premium support -- here's $11 K per year, buy insurance with it; if the cost is actually $14,000, you'll have to pay the difference yourself.
(Now the Ryan plan ups this government contribution for poor seniors, but for rich seniors -- hey, someone is going to pay this. Pay the rest of it yourself. You have the money. Someone has to pay, and between a senior getting the service and a young taxpayer getting nothing at the moment, the burden should fall on the person actually getting the service.)
Like I said, I didn't know this four or five months ago.
But I do now.
Herman Cain does not seem to know this.
But that's charming. Herman Cain not knowing the very most basics of central policy questions which must be resolved in the next presidential term just proves that he's not part of the political class, and is made virtuous and authentic by his very ignorance of "Washington politics."
We seem to have a schism in the party between those who think knowledge is power and those who think knowledge is weakness.
