Biden: "You Are The Only Folks Keeping The Barbarians From the Gates"

So, not only are we sons of bitches, we're barbarians. Like Fatty McFatpants Hoffa, Jr., Biden also uses the word "fight." Several times, in fact. He also says "onslaught," "attack," "assault," and "war." Unlike RolyPoly McLarge, however, he did not demand the mind-bending combination of both better access to healthcare and more jelly doughnuts.

I can't say that I like the New Tone. It does sound like tough-guy cheerleading, as Allahpundit says, but there are bound to be a few numbskulls out there who will take this as a call to violence, especially given the long history of union-sponsored violence. Let's hope not, though.
