CA-36 Special Election Results Thread
Biggest thing to watch is the turnout of Republican votes in Torrance. If it is massive, and the Democratic turnout remains lackluster, it could be enough to tip the scales in Huey's favor.
Results HERE, polls close at 8pm PST.

As of 6pm PST, with 2 hours until polls close, turnout is at 17.32% per the LACRR.
Per the LA County Registrar Recorder/County Clerk, Dean Logan:
"First results by 8:30 (vote by mail). Poll returns will begin once in Norwalk likely starting around 10 PM until finished."
Update #1:
The mail-ins through Saturday are already in and it is Hahn with a roughly 8.5% lead:
JANICE HAHN DEM 21,365
CRAIG HUEY REP 18,025
Rest of the results as already mentioned will be coming in at a snails pace. Huey needed a strong final push, and that is even more evident now. If total turnout is indeed around 17.8%, there would be another 16-17,000 votes outstanding, so lets wait and see.
