Since last month’s elections, in which Ms. Wasserman Schultz was re-elected but Republicans snatched back the majority, she has discovered downward mobility.
Today, Ms. Wasserman Schultz is scrambling to keep her membership on Appropriations, and protect the staff aides whose jobs are at risk. “It’s the shrinking pains of serving in the minority,” she said. “There’s a lot of angst.”
Awww. Committee memberships at risk. Staffers wandering up and down the halls, seeking comfort in these trying times. The NYTimes chronicling the heartache of it all.
